Hot Tin Roof

Hot Tin Roof has been created because one of my favourite website chat forums is due to close in the near future.

It is not a rival to anything. I made it out of my own curiosity and it was ... is enlightening

This forum is supposed to be the kind of place where members come along to waste a little time and hopefully enjoy doing so. You can do all sorts of interesting things with the interactive controlling interface, that's the selection of icons available above the message creation space. You can use it to link to pictures, videos, texts and other websites so that the content there can be shown here. single pictures and videos can be directly inserted into the threads you create. You can link off to anywhere else to show embedded content and you can customise the link to appear as any word you choose. But best of all, you can just start your own thread about anything you want, and tweak it a little. Just the way you want it.


There are no rules really. Just be civilized and polite, swearing is OK as long as it isn't too prolific. If you are partial to uttering the occasional profanity, it would be better to reserve their use than expressing them too regularly, so folks know what you actually might mean? Read the forum FAQ when you sign up. Oh, yes ... there are several forums that can cover a lot of ground. Try and put your post in the most appropriate forum; eg ... if you want to moan about something, put it in the Rantings forum. If the case for another forum ever arises, the issue can be floated and discussed by the members that it might concern in ... say ... the Brainwaves forum ... you get the picture?

This one should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway ... This is not a porn site ... so don't post any.
